Reflex testing options are designed to broaden your patient's genetic analysis to exome sequencing when primary testing is non-diagnostic. Primary testing comprises a preset or custom panel selected by you for your patient. Panel results that are sufficient to make a molecular diagnosis are typically reported within three to four weeks.

Reflex Test Options

All-In-One Reflex

The clinical exome sequencing option targets over 6,500 genes enriched for clinical significance. This test uses our custom-designed capture set, which is continuously improved and re-validated to cover clinically relevant genes and variants. Best suited for individuals with multiple clinical features that do not fit a specific diagnosis but fall within well-established Mendelian conditions.

Whole-In-One Reflex

Whole Exome Sequencing tests over 20,000 genes throughout the human genome. This option is ideal for patients for whom previous focused testing has been negative or those who have a complex or very rare combination of phenotypes that are not suggestive of any recognizable syndrome.
